I had an amazing summer, filming on the beaches in Bognor and Dorset, filming people in streets, and researching the history of the Beetle pontoon on Aldwick Beach.

More recently, I attended the Raindance film school at Kings College in the Strand in an attempt to get some film-making gems, and whatever else they might throw at me.  Amazing people, especially the film director Patrick Tucker, and lots of audience participation including interactive filming as we performed.

Learning: my film work is probably not as narrative-based as most Raindance movies so I'm looking for my tribe elsewhwere, eg ICA, and Woff; directorial tips were really useful and using a large viewfinder to check what the camera actually needs to capture, ie without peripheral detritus, will be v. helpful; need to revisit Tacita Dean's "Antigone" and research other greats.
